Jack's Dedication

On Mother's Day we celebrated by having Jack dedicated at church. It was a beautiful service and we are so glad we did it.  Jack wanted to grab the mic and got a little antsy during the prayer but it went well and we are so excited to raise him in the church surrounded by such a great church family.

We had to select a verse from the bible to read for Jack and we chose one from Proverbs (below). There are a few photos from the day as well. 

We spent the rest of the day relaxing. We even did some shopping for our upcoming beach trip and bought a crib mattress for baby #2!  I am finally getting started on the nursery for Hudson Stuart and we are so excited!  21 weeks along and time is moving quickly.

 

Proverbs 3:1-6

My son, do not forget my teaching,
    but keep my commands in your heart,
² for they will prolong your life many years
    and bring you peace and prosperity.

³ Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
    bind them around your neck,
    write them on the tablet of your heart.
⁴ Then you will win favor and a good name
    in the sight of God and man.

⁵ Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
⁶ in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.^[a]
