At 3 months Jack
...weighs in at 16lbs, 4 ounces (this was his weight yesterday fully clothed at his pediatrician appointment). We definitely have a big boy on our hands and I love it! He is in the 85-90 percentile for height, weight and head circumference.
...is wearing 6 month clothes with a little bit of room. I have a feeling he won't be in them for more than a few weeks longer though.
...has his hands permanently in his mouth.
...rolls from stomach to back pretty regularly now. At first it was accidental but now it is obvious that he knows what he is doing.
...loves to stand up (with us holding his fingers) and loves tummy time!
...loves to babble and COO. This is one of my favorite things! He will literally talk and babble for an hour straight and he thinks it is hilarious when we talk back to him in his baby talk :)
....smiles constantly! The teachers at school are always telling me that he just smiles all day long and loves to hang out with everyone. I love when he gets really tickled with something and has to look away because it is almost like it is too much for him to handle :)
...is slowly starting to let out some laughs. So far they are just tiny giggles but I can't wait for the full on belly laughs!
...he has found his hands and feet and it is hilarious to watch. He will just sit and stare at them in awe and it is so cute!
... loves bath time. He just spreads out in his tub and kicks and coos. He HATES when bath time is over and cries when we take him out of the warm water.
...is pretty much over the swing and bouncy seat. He knows there are better places to hang (like mom and dad's laps!)
...is sleeping well at night. He typically will give us one solid 6-8 hour chunk of sleep and then just wakes up to eat and quickly falls back asleep. I am pretty sure he would sleep until 10 AM every day if we would let him. I hate having to wake him up every morning to take him to daycare.
...naps are a challenge at home and at daycare. He prefers to sleep in our arms during the day and I am a sucker and give in to him because I love to cuddle. His naps at daycare are few and far between (an also very short) because he isn't used to laying in a crib during the day.
...is still in our room sleeping in his bassinet. I am just not ready to move him down the hall to his room yet because I love having him close by at night. I know we will need to transition him soon and I am not looking forward to that!
Some more pics of recent weeks!
2 months and 3 months. He is looking so much bigger and more grown up!

He is fascinated with staring at himself when I am taking an iphone picture :)
Meeting his great grandfather for the first time :) Couldn't be more proud to have our baby boy named after his wonderful father and this man. They are both incredible.
He loves snuggling with this puppy dog.
Another picture where he could see himself on the iphone screen.
