5 months

Where does time go?  Our precious boy is getting so big and FAST.  Sometimes I wish i could just freeze time and breathe in that baby smell and kiss those baby cheeks endlessly. Jack amazes me every single day.  He is SO much fun!  He has started to really hug us and I can tell he is showing us love in his own little way.  He will wrap his chunky little arms around my neck and plant big, open-mouth slobbery kisses on our cheeks and I just can't get enough of that. His laughs and smiles are contagious. I love this little boy so much that it literally hurts sometimes!  I am completely smitten with our precious blessing.

At 5 months...
weighed in at 18 lbs, 2 oz a day before he turned 5 months. Guess we are doing something right because this boy is GROWING :)
His eyes are officially brown, just like mama and daddy!
He loves touching faces, big hugs and slobbery kisses.
is so active!  He is constantly kicking, rolling, and moving around.  He has even started to scoot a bit when on his tummy. I am so not ready for crawling yet.  Slow down, little man!
Smiles and laughs so much.  He also babbles constantly.  He loves to "growl", we say he sounds like a baby dinosaur and he thinks it is hilarious when you mimic him.
is starting to love peekaboo... this morning while getting ready for work I kept popping my head out of the bathroom while brushing my teeth and he just giggled from our bed and waited for me to do it again.
Cereal is quickly becoming his favorite thing and he is showing so much interest in our food.  I gave him a tiny bit of ice cream on my finger last week and he LOVED it.  Can't wait to start real foods in a few weeks.
Is able to sit up for a few seconds unassisted.  We work on it every day and I am thinking it won't be long until he is doing it on his own.
He is napping much better in his crib and at daycare.  Nights are still a work in progress but I really enjoy our cuddle time in the wee hours of the morning so I can't complain. 
now that he rolls, Jack has realized he loves sleeping on his stomach.  This has helped dramatically in the napping department.
