He is acing his colors, shapes and counting these days and getting better and better at identifying letters and numbers. His current favorite color is yellow. He absolutely loves pointing out all of the colorful things he sees on his way to and from school every day. Yellow school buses are all the rage :)
Jack is saying more and more sentences and truly is a parrot. His first real sentence was "Where car at mama?" when we came out of school one evening. He bit my toe when i wasn't paying attention the other day and yelled "nummy!!!" and started hysterically laughing. Every night before bed he does a roll call and has to kiss everyone (including Hudson and the dogs) goodnight. He will spontaneously yell "Running!!!" and take off as fast as he can and continuously anounce that he is running.
The other day we had Jack and Hudson in matching shirts and he had the best reaction when he realized it. He just was smiling so big and looking at his shirt and the baby's over and over saying "wow!". He is getting very good at hiding and loves to jump out and try and scare people when they are least expecting it. I think we have a little prankster on our hands.
We took Jack to Busch Gardens after Thanksgiving and he rode his first rides and absolutely loved it. I was worried he might get scared riding alone but he was such a big boy and just smiled and waved at us the whole time.
For his 2nd birthday, we took him to see Disney Jr. Live and he loved seeing Jake and the neverland pirates in person. We cannot wait to take him to Disney (hopefully this year).
He loves playing outside, building blocks, racing cars, reading, hiding in his teepee and is such an awesome sleeper. He is starting to show an interest in potty training so we are just taking it slow and at his pace right now.
Jack is so sweet with his little brother and loves to talk to him and show him toys. They are going to be best friends.
This year sure did fly by and we love our big boy so much!
Christmas was so much fun this year! He didn't really care too much about opening presents but I am sure that will be different next year. He just wanted to play with the first thing he opened. He loved all of the Christmas decorations and would say "Santa" and "hohoho" whenever he would see Christmas decorations.
